In this article, we’re going to be examining why we believe we are one of the best services you can find in the area when it comes to the practice of dentistry and even more specifically orthodontist treatments.

Your Orthodontist Should Make You Feel Comfortable

“Dr. Wright and Dr. Johnny are top notch. All the assistants are phenomenal. My teeth are straight. I couldn’t ask for a better team of professionals. Everyone is so friendly and nice, from the moment you walk in the door and all the way through. Thank you all for an amazing experience. I highly recommend them for orthodontics!” – Mimi

This is the exact type of feedback we love to hear. We put a lot of effort into making our customers feel warm and welcome when they step into our office.

We take our training very seriously when it comes to our staff. They’re on the front lines and the people you will most likely speak to first whenever you come to our offices.

Just as Mimi says in her review, we like to think of our staff as a team, each person contributing an incredibly important role.

We believe this kind of attention to detail translates incredibly well to our patients and effects their overall orthodontist experience in a very powerful way.

These are the types of measures that we specifically try our best to touch on with every patient.

I’m sure some people would agree with the statement that it sometimes seems as though providing a comfortable inviting experience when it comes to medical services, is a harder task than the actual treatment itself.

Forming a Relationship With Your Orthodontist

“Dr. Wright is an excellent orthodontist! We live over an hour from his Santa Barbara location, so he always fits our son in when he is in Buellton. One time his retainer broke while we were in Disneyland and he fit us in as we drove through Santa Barbara on the way home! I can’t say enough good things about him and his office. He works seamlessly with our insurance company, and his staff is incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable.” – Julie.

This goes for most types of businesses but I believe this is especially true when it comes to any types of dentistry or medical practice.

Being able to form relationships with our patients allows us to work out plans and processes that might not seem doable otherwise.

Sometimes the most unorthodox or strange situations happen to our patients and it’s up to us to see if we can accommodate those times.

Take Julie’s case for example where her son broke his retainer while they were at Disneyland.

It’s probably safe to say that this wasn’t something they were expecting when they were first planning their trip out there.

However, because I and Julie have a close enough relationship we were able to work with her problems in a very efficient and effective manner that allowed for us to fit her into our already scheduled programming and were able to help her out with little to zero frustration.

As little as some of these issues might seem, we think this is exactly what people are looking for in a high-quality orthodontist.

Dentists Should Make You Feel Welcome

“I had braces as a kid, and I let them get all crooked again because I didn’t wear my retainer. Then, as a 27-year-old, I went to Dr. Wright to correct my teeth again. I was dreading it because I remember I hated going to the orthodontist as a kid. Dr. Wright completely changed the way I see orthodontists. I did Invisalign through Dr. Wright, and he was friendly, professional, and kind the entire way through. And, of course, my teeth are now 100% straight. His staff is also incredible – they always have smiles on their faces and work hard to make their patients smile, too.” – Dana

You can probably recognize a common theme throughout most of these patient feedback stories…we really do put a massive emphasis on the patient to make sure they are feeling at ease at all times.

This doesn’t just go for kids who are scared to go to the dentist.

The same stress can be for adults as well.

Often times adults feel that they no longer need treatment because they got their teeth taken care of as a child and that part of their life is finished.

This is far from the truth for most people. Especially around braces and other more advanced procedures, adults sometimes find themselves feeling out of place getting treatment.

It might surprise you to learn that about half of our patients are adults looking to get some work done that they never got around to as a kid.

Or in other circumstances like Dana where maybe they simply didn’t keep up with the best possible practices, in her defense life gets busy and it’s hard to remember every step at all times. That’s where we come in.

Working With Our Patients

“Everyone there is extremely nice and they make you feel like family. They worked with me on the financial part of things, setting up a payment plan to make it very easy for me. My daughter loved going to her appointments. All of the technicians are so kind and gentle. They explained everything they were doing, so she was not scared and there were no surprises. And, now she has a beautiful smile!!” – Amy

Giving our patients their best smile gives us our best smile as well…okay, that was the cheesiest thing I’ve ever written but to be totally honest it’s true.

Making sure that children feel comfortable and safe in such an environment where they’re having to deal with strangers is something that’s going to make everyone’s day much smoother.

Also, I’m glad that Amy brings up the bit about the payment plan that we were able to work out with her. Sometimes people feel there’s a barrier to entry when it comes to orthopedic treatments and it’s our job to break down that barrier as much as we can.

Not only is it a goal for us but also the goal of the parents to work to find an orthodontist that their child doesn’t mind going to, let alone loves going to.
