Our Braces
Metal Braces
Metal braces are the most common type. They are made of high-grade stainless steel. Today’s metal braces are smaller, more comfortable, and more attractive than ever before. Most of our younger patients prefer the metal braces and love to decorate them with all different colors. It should be stated however that braces are for all age groups including adults of varying ages.
Clear Braces
Clear braces are made of translucent (clear) material. There are many different kinds of clear braces. Unfortunately, many orthodontists, in an effort to save money, like to use lower-quality plastic braces that tend to wear out and change color over time. At Wright & Feusier we’re proud to offer some of the highest quality you can find at an affordable cost.
In our office, we use only the highest-quality ceramic brackets that never discolor, and are nearly as durable and low-profile as the metal braces. Because of their nearly invisible appearance, these braces are very popular with most of our older teens and adult patients, and look very similar to a retainer when worn. If the look of traditional metal braces is something your not too keen on then these might be the perfect option for you.
Clear Aligners and/or Invisalign®
Invisalign is the clear alternative to traditional braces. Dr. Wright and Dr. Feusier have treated more than 700 patients with Invisalign, more than nearly all providers in Southern California.
For several years, Dr. Wright has been a clinical instructor, teaching other dentists and orthodontists how to use the Invisalign system. With Invisalign, you can eat whatever you want, clean your teeth easily, and usually finish your treatment in less time than with traditional braces.
